Chapter 1 - A Humble Start

Aaron Llandros had been here before. This was the home of his grandparents and he could remember sitting on the porch of the sprawling ranch and waiting for the day he would be old enough to finally ride with his grandfather on one of their champion race horses.
But the ranch he knew was only a memory. The place had burned down and his grandparents had lost the strength to rebuild what once stood here.
After Aaron's grandmother died, his grandfather had hung up his saddle and packed away his memories of this place and retired. He left Chestnut Ridge with a heavy heart, knowing the once proud homestead was no more.
One of the few horses that had descended from the family line remained. Thunder was very far removed from the champion racers of years ago but was full of potential.
Once his grandfather died, Aaron was left the deed to what remained of the old place. Just a makeshift little cabin with the basic amenities a person would need.
This is where it would begin. Aaron would do his best to realize the dream that was snatched away so long ago. He had a horse and some land that he knew could one day restore the family ranch.
But he knew nothing about life on the ranch. Only that this was what he had and he would need to make the best of it.
With $900 simoleans and a lot of luck, he was sure that he would bring the Llandros Ranch back to life the way it was always meant to be,
